Terms of Use
Please read before relying on any result from this site in clinical care.
1. Educational reference only
MedCalcHub is provided for educational and informational purposes only. The calculators, interpretations, references, and FAQ content on this site are not medical advice and are not a substitute for the judgement of a qualified healthcare professional. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read on MedCalcHub.
2. No doctor–patient relationship
Use of this site does not create a doctor–patient, provider–patient, or any other professional relationship between you and MedCalcHub or its contributors.
3. Accuracy and limitations
We implement calculators from peer-reviewed publications and authoritative guidelines and strive for accuracy, but medical knowledge evolves. Formulas, reference ranges, and thresholds may be superseded (for example, MELD 3.0 replaced MELD-Na for UNOS allocation in 2023). Always verify against current guidelines and primary sources before clinical use. We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular clinical purpose.
4. Assumption of risk
You use MedCalcHub at your own risk. You are solely responsible for any clinical decision informed by content on this site. If you are a licensed clinician, use of MedCalcHub does not reduce your professional responsibility for patient care.
5. No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MedCalcHub and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site — including but not limited to damages arising from clinical decisions informed by calculator output.
7. Content and intellectual property
Original MedCalcHub content (interpretations, FAQ text, site design) is owned by MedCalcHub. Published medical formulas, scoring systems, and guidelines referenced on the site remain the intellectual property of their respective authors and publishers; we cite them in the reference list on each calculator page.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: scrape the site at abusive rates, attempt to compromise site security, use content in a way that misrepresents MedCalcHub as endorsing a product or service, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
10. Changes
We may revise these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date below reflects the effective date of the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
